Hello Baby Shark

Major kudos to our wonderful friend, Brian Hoover, for introducing Josephine to the “Baby Shark” song!

This song was sung to me within a few moments of knowing Brian and I always thought it was cute and entertaining.  Then again, it doesn’t take much!  Ha!

When Little Sheldon came into the picture, Uncle Brian started singing it to Sheldon.  So, it seemed natural to sing it to Josephine as well, especially since she has such a love for music and singing…

Now Josephine is hooked!  And we just giggle watching her.

IT’S HERE!

The Senek Family would like to announce the arrival of the Kimba Pediatric Tilt-In Base Stroller!  Mommy, Daddy, Sheldon and Josephine are doing fine after the arrival of their dear friend on Friday, April 2 at 10:08 AM.

Josephine looks wonderful and it fits her perfectly.  I am so excited to take her out on the town and show her off  in comfort!

Thanks to Lana Furman (our FABULOUS P.T.) and John from Allcare Medical!

Strike a Pose

Check out our little fashionista.

It has happened…

I have officially entered Josephine into the casting pool for “differently-abled” child models.  This is picture I used (her school picture from Stepping Stones):

Keep an eye out for news about Josephine and Toys “R” Us and keep those fingers crossed!

Red Rover, Red Rover, Let Josephine Roll Over

Good therapy session today! Josephine was rolling over (to the right, to the right), from her stomach to her back, then to her stomach again. She did this three or four times with much more ease (and without much effort) than she has done in the past.

Repetition, repetition, repetition. Getting her on all fours is not her most popular thing to do yet…but just wait!

Another thing I started to wonder about…She sometimes gets very excited and flails her hands and arms. It was when my son Sheldon was hanging on my back and wrestling with me that I looked up and she was doing this movement. When he got off, she stopped. Then he jumped on me again–and again she started to get excited. Then it hit me…maybe she is signing the word “play”–and she wants in on the fun. I will keep monitoring this.

Scream’n To Get Dream’n

Okay, it’s getting close to midnight…there’s finally silence. Nope, spoke to soon…as soon as I wrote that sentence, I jinxed myself. The crying continues. I wish I understood what she needs. As Krysta wrote in her earlier post, is it the normal toddler-fighting-sleep-scream or something else. Is she on some type of sensory overload?

Not really adding anything new…just my two cents. Just wish I could understand her more to help her.

The saga continues…

Cider Mill Time!

100_3351We are very excited to announce the opening of our favorite fall destination, Hacklebarney Cider Mill in Chester, NJ!  Of course we had to be there for the100_3347opening weekend and brought our friend, David, along for the fun.

100_3343Josephine enjoyed her first cider doughnut and wanted more…

Now that she has 3 teeth (yes, 3!) and a 4th one coming along, she wants to eat adult food.  Here she is enjoying some of Mommy’s yummy treat.100_3346Can’t wait for her to try the cider mill’s famous apple pie, my favorite!

Happy Fall to everyone from the Senek Clan!
