Therapists Rock!

I need to take a moment to give total accolades to our therapy team from Sunny Days Early Intervention Services (www.sunnydays.com).  Not only are they wonderful with Josephine, they are patient, kind, respectful, knowledgeable, caring and full of spunk!

Kudos to:

Lauren Levine, Developmental Intervention

Lana Furman, Physical Therapist

Kim Pannucci, Occupational Therapist

Carrie Leshin, Speech Pathologist

It is because of all of these women that our beautiful miracle is excelling in all aspects of life!

THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!!!

Peek A Boo!

During lunch yesterday, Josephine discovered how to play peek a boo with Mommy!  She was holding a board book and would look over it and laugh with such an adorable belly laugh.  She did it repeatedly, so I know she saw it as a game.

Little by little, we are seeing her personality shine!

Rollin’, Rollin’, Rollin’…

A big High 5 to Josephine – she is now rolling over to get toys she wants.  Not only does she roll once, she will roll a few times to get closer to the toy (a Little People animal or talking bear from Aunt Tracy, just to name a few).

We have also seen a glimmer of Josephine reaching forward for a toy, which is slowly resembling a transition to laying down.  This is huge because this transition will get her closer to crawling.

WAY TO GO, my Little Love Lump!

Milestone ACHIEVED!

Arms Up–HURRAY!

Today was a wonderful day!  While at a friend’s house for dinner, Josephine mimicked our friend, Trish.  Trish threw her own arms up in the air and shouted HURRAY!  Josephine followed by moving her arms up in the air too!  And it wasn’t just a fluke.  She moved those arms every time.

Made me want to cry, but I was too happy and proud to do anything expect beam from ear to ear!
